5 Octaeders
Convento do San Francisco, Montemor-o-Novo, Portugal, 2012

The installation consists of 5 Octaeders that are placed in the cnstruction framework that supports the ruinous entrance portal to the church of the former monastery San Francisco. The church is locked for the public. The tringle-shapes of the octaeders are interfering with the rectangular structure of the framework. They are covered by a typical Portuguese tile pattern that has been photographed insided the church of San Francisco and reproduced onto display sheet.
